Helping Communities Thrive Goals

1. Strengthen food systems. Bolster the resiliency of community food systems.

2. Support community decision makers by providing policy analysis regarding laws and regulations impacting Arkansans, such as the Farm Bill.

3. Enhance citizen understanding and participation through ballot issue and voter education, engaging partners in civics education programs, providing education about state, county, city governments and how citizens can engage with them.

4. Support creation of welcoming communities. Help make Arkansas a place where people of all ages want to live, work, play and thrive by implementing programs that support communities where people want to live using asset-based community development approaches.

Growing. Closer.

What makes a community more than just an address? We use our research base to help communities grow stronger by enhancing the qualities that create a vibrant home. We aim to expand opportunities for communities and Arkansans of all ages to thrive, working with partners and stakeholders throughout the state to bring those opportunities to life.
