How to shoot a video
You’ve considered your audience. You’ve written a script. You’ve practiced. What’s next?
Press record and start filming! Here are a few resources to help you begin shooting videos, no matter what equipment you have.
Basic Video Tips
Your work life has changed. So have your methods of connecting with your constituents. More people are creating their own videos to share on social media and other platforms. It's important to present our best work so the information you convey is not lost within distracting video elements. As you begin filming, keep these tips in mind for good video.
Basic Audio Tips
It's easy to forget that good audio is just as important for your video production as good video. You’ve worked hard to prepare your information for the people who need it — don’t frustrate them with hard-to-understand speech, or screeching monkeys in the background. Depending on your subject matter, you might need some additional equipment, and be prepared to take some additional steps when shooting and editing.
