How do I make accessible forms in Word?

Can this Word form be an online form?

If so, head over to our resources on building online forms or contact Gretchen Skinner, our Forms Manager, for help.

Accessibility concerns with Microsoft Word Forms

Though Microsoft Word does have the ability to be made into a form, these forms still have compliance issues. Due to the nature of how different assistive technologies, like screen readers or speech recognition software, interact with Microsoft forms, they are not considered accessible. In order to ensure that we are making our forms available to everyone - both internal at Extension, and to the public - online forms are the suggested method of creating form documents.
